The Italy Ambassador Awards were created to recognize the excellence and professionalism of top content creators worldwide who, with dedication, respect, and passion, help raise international awareness of Italy’s countless wonders and qualities. In collaboration with Toscana Promozione Turistica and under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism, ENIT, and the Municipality of Florence, last year’s event reached an audience of over 18 million enthusiasts of Made in Italy.

Svetlana Trushnikova, founder of the Awards, stated, “These awards for content creators are not only a point of pride: through their work on social media, we spread knowledge, information, education, and promote respect for others and the environment. In November 2022, we laid the foundation for a community of content creators aware of their growing communication responsibilities to preserve Italy’s beauty for future generations.”

Travel, Food & Beverage, Luxury Lifestyle, Beauty & Spa, and Fashion are the five award categories, also open to companies, professionals, and Italian personalities who have distinguished themselves through various forms of sustainability, from environmental initiatives to social causes. Sustainability, solidarity, education, respect, collaboration, and innovation are the core values of the Italy Ambassador Awards and underscore every initiative tied to the event.

This year’s prestigious jury includes notable personalities such as Francesco Tapinassi, President of the Jury and Director of Toscana Promozione Turistica, Antonio De Matteis, CEO of Kiton Group, Menswear Creative Director and President of Pitti Immagine, Roberta Garibaldi, Professor of Tourism Management and Marketing at the University of Bergamo and President of the Italian Association for Food and Wine Tourism, Sara Magro, Contributor at Il Sole 24 Ore, Condé Nast Italia, Editor-in-Chief of The Travel News and The Italy Insider, Tommaso Foglia, Executive Pastry Chef and Judge of BakeOff Italia & Cake Star, Anna Bussinello, Communication & Social Media Manager at Aquardens Terme Verona, and Assunta Timpone, Media Director at L’Oréal Italy, among others. 

This year’s “Friend of the Awards” country is Austria, following Poland and Spain, main partners of the first and second editions, respectively. Austria will offer exclusive travel experiences for winners of the Destination Contest, where semi-finalists of the Italy Ambassador Awards are invited to post a reel or photo dedicated to Austria, following specific themes. This contest offers participants a unique chance to showcase Austria’s beauty, culture, and attractions, providing an unforgettable experience with Austria Tourism.
