Ristorante Pizzeria Le Giare

Ladin Flavours in a Restaurant in Pozza di Fassa

Where the San Nicolò stream once carried and deposited gravel, you will now find the "Le Giare" Restaurant and Pizzeria.
The Ladin name, which means "the Gravels," reflects the commitment to keeping local traditions alive, as does the use of ancient wood in the decor, a testament to the craftsmanship of local artisans.

The three dining rooms, spread over two floors, feature exposed beams and wood panels sourced from a 1700s farmhouse in South Tyrol. The room in the lower part of the building is designed with vaulted ceilings, inspired by the stables of the past. The smallest of the three, "La Stube", with its traditional musa (an ancient refractory stove), is in typical Tyrolean style. Another small room on the ground floor, which overlooks the red wine cellar (with over 3,000 bottles), stands out with its four vaulted ceilings adorned with motifs related to the world of wine, a significant resource of Trentino.

The dishes served here are typically Ladin, as are the fresh, high-quality ingredients sourced from the Val di Fassa. The venison, cured meats, and local cheeses are a must-try. Even the creativity of the pizzas will convey the love for the area's culinary traditions.
