66 OI magazine together with Urbino forms the provincial capital. This is one of the most famous cities on the Adriatic coast and offers kilometers of pristine golden beaches. Pesaro is also steeped in history and culture, boasting a rich historical center with Renaissance monuments and numerous museums. Moreover, Pesaro has always been a bike-friendly city, thanks also to its mostly flat territory, but the development of Bicipolitana makes it a model for the rest of Italy. Senigallia, with its Blue Flag beach but also famous for the Rocca Roveresca and the Teatro La Fenice. The Conero Riviera and its attached Park are full of beaches of all types; sandy or gravelly, served or wild (Numana, Sirolo, and Portonovo). Some of them, however, are only reachable along winding paths or by sea. Going south, there are Civitanova Marche, Porto Sant’Elpidio, Porto San Giorgio, and Pedaso, all excellently served and increasingly popular for many summer events. Finally, on the southernmost coast of the Marche region, we find the beautiful Riviera delle Palme (San Benedetto del Tronto, Grottammare, and Cupra Marittima), united by a beautiful coastline, shaded by tall palms, Liberty-style villas, bike paths, wide beaches, and high-level facilities.
