MODERN AND DESIGN WORKS WITH ANCIENT MOSAIC ART

Pixel Mosaici is an artisan mosaic workshop where ancient techniques merge with contemporary art.

Its founder, Mrs.Lea Ciambelli, trained in Ravenna, the mosaic capital. She first attended the professional school where she earned her master mosaicist diploma, then worked in one of the city's oldest workshops, learning and practicing all the secrets of this art.

Since 2005, Pixel Mosaici has been a place where you can purchase reproductions of ancient mosaics, modern creations, or request custom projects. Each piece is born from a creative process, followed through all production phases by expert mosaicists, and made entirely by hand, making each piece unique.

Pixel Mosaici is also a training school, attracting people from around the world who are fascinated by this ancient technique. Here, adults and children, beginners and artists are guided through the ancient world of mosaics, with courses suited to their level. They learn to manually cut the tiles, use and recognize precious materials such as Venetian glass and gold, and marble in various shades from both Italy and abroad.

Additionally, the workshop is connected to a bed and breakfast, Pixel B&B, which welcomes course participants and tourists visiting Ravenna.
